Carefree Summer is a coastal fashion editorial created as a tribute to Belamer and its effortlessly elegant identity. Shot in Costa Brava, the series highlights the brand’s newest swimwear collection through a warm, relaxed and sun touched visual world. The project blends spontaneity, Mediterranean softness and modern beach culture to reflect the carefree feeling that defines Belamer.
BRIEF
Create a lifestyle editorial that showcases Belamer’s latest swimsuit collection in an authentic, vibe centered narrative. The brand asked for imagery that reflects ease, movement and stylish simplicity. The location was chosen to echo Belamer’s Mediterranean roots.
GOALS
To present the movment of the body and clothes in a fresh, emotional and aspirational way by capturing the feeling of a carefree summer day. The aim was to elevate the swimwear through a visual story that merges fashion, nature and relaxed elegance.

CONCEPT
The concept centers on the idea of freedom and soft luxury. Rather than posing the model in traditional fashion setups, the visual world embraces natural movement, golden light, sea breeze textures and sun warmed tones in close up photography. Carefree Summer positions Belamer not only as swimwear, but as a lifestyle of ease, confidence and coastal serenity. The location in Costa Brava supports this narrative with rocky beaches, glowing waters and a naturally cinematic atmosphere.

I guided the visual tone, built the narrative, selected the location and directed the model to emphasize authenticity and movement. I oversaw styling adjustments, and produced the full shoot from concept to final images.
PROCESS
Concept and research
Explored brand identity and past visual language to define a direction that feels modern yet true to Belamer. Established a warm, sunkissed aesthetic for the shoot.
Location scouting
Selected a series of hidden spots in Costa Brava with natural textures, good light flow and a feeling of quiet escape.
Styling and color harmony
Coordinated swimwear looks with the environment to ensure color coherence and create a natural storytelling rhythm.
On location shooting
Worked with natural lighting shifts, directing the model through spontaneous movement. Captured a mix of wide environmental shots and intimate details.
Post production
Edited the series to maintain warmth, softness and a cohesive Mediterranean mood.

CHALLENGES
Shooting entirely with natural light meant working quickly through light changes and shifting shadows. The coastal terrain created limitations on positioning and movement, requiring real time adjustments to framing and posing. The goal was to keep the images effortless rather than overly stylized, which demanded patience, adaptability and a sensitive approach to directing the model.
