Zodiac Feast is a visual storytelling project that transforms astrology into a sensory dining experience. Each month, a new zodiac sign is interpreted through a curated tablescape that blends symbolism, photography and set design. The Pisces edition explores themes of intuition, fluidity and dreamlike emotion, creating a poetic scene that feels suspended between reality and imagination. Through materials, color and atmosphere, the project turns abstract traits into a tangible visual world.
BRIEF
Zodiac Feast is a monthly photography series that translates astrological sign into a fully styled dining experience. The concept is expressed through a product photography and tablescape that uses symbols, color palettes and materials connected to the sign’s emotional and visual identity.
For Pisces, the goal was to celebrate their dreamlike, intuitive nature and create a setting that feels fluid, mystical and emotionally immersive.

CONCEPT
Pisces is a water sign associated with intuition, dreams and emotional depth. The concept focused on creating a dining scene that feels like the moment between consciousness and fantasy.
The tablescape used soft textures, fluid shapes, reflective surfaces, translucent materials and a palette inspired by ocean blues and muted pastels. The visual language was built around the idea of drifting, floating and merging, echoing the Pisces symbolism of duality and inner worlds.
PROCESS
Creative direction start
We decided to collaborate on a conceptual product shoot and explored what themes felt relevant and inspiring. After looking at current visual trends and upcoming themes, we chose to build the project around the next zodiac sign, Pisces, because it allowed us to create something symbolic, emotional and connected to people.
Research and symbolism
Mapped Pisces traits and collected references on water, mysticism and the emotional qualities of the sign. we created a visual direction combining dreamlike softness with subtle symbolic elements.
Storyboard and planning
Developed a storyboard translating abstract traits into concrete materials, lighting ideas and compositions.
Aligned visual direction with Anna’s set design approach and develop our lighting plan.
Set building and styling
Worked with challenging materials such as glass, reflective surfaces and water based elements.
Adjusted the tablescape in real time to maintain fluidity and natural movement.
Photography and lighting
Captured the scene using directional lighting to create depth, shadows and translucency. we balanced reflections and highlights to preserve the dreamy tone without losing clarity.
Editing and color correction
Performed detailed retouching, color grading and refinement to emphasize motion and atmosphere.

Tight scheduling that required efficient coordination between styling, lighting and shooting.
Working with fragile or reflective materials that were difficult to control on set. translating the storyboard into a real physical setup where not everything behaves as planned.
Balancing artistic abstraction with practical limitations of photography and lighting. ensuring the final result stayed aligned with the conceptual emotional tone.

IMPACT
The Pisces Feast created a visually rich and emotionally immersive interpretation of the sign. The final imagery captures the intuition and fluidity associated with Pisces and expands the Zodiac Feast into a deeper artistic exploration.
The collaboration between concept, styling and lighting produced a cohesive narrative that strengthened the overall visual identity of the project.
